Is This Webinar Right for Your Family?

We want to be honest with you: this webinar was designed for families in a very specific situation. Watch the short video below, then review the four requirements so you can decide with confidence.

A message from our Head College Access Coach

Register only if all four statements are true

REQUIREMENT 1 – INCOME

Your household income does not exceed $60,000 USD per year

Federal and state aid programs are designed for families in this income range it is what makes a no-cost path possible.

REQUIREMENT 2 – STATUS

Your child is a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

The financial aid opportunities covered in this webinar require one of these two statuses to qualify.

REQUIREMENT 3 – GRADE

Your child is currently in 11th or 12th grade

These are the critical planning years the strategies we share must be applied before college applications are due.

REQUIREMENT 4 – LOCATION

Your child plans to attend a college within commuting distance from home

Living at home, while attending college, dramatically reduces costs it is a key part of the no-cost strategy we teach.

If your family meets all four of these requirements, this webinar was created specifically for you.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, completely free. There is no cost to attend and nothing to buy during the session. Our goal is to educate families about the financial aid opportunities available to them.

Parents of first-generation college students whose family meets all four requirements above: household income of $60,000 or less, a child who is a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, currently in 11th or 12th grade, and planning to attend a college within commuting distance from home.

This session focuses on time-sensitive steps for 11th and 12th graders, so it may not address your situation yet. We recommend waiting until your child begins 11th grade the strategies will be far more relevant and actionable then.

We say this with respect: the no-cost strategies presented in this webinar depend on aid programs designed for families earning $60,000 or less. If your income is higher, the content may not apply to your situation, and we would rather be upfront about that.

Yes, undocumented parents can attend as long as their son or daughter who plans to attend college is a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident.

Unfortunately no. The specific financial aid opportunities covered in this webinar require the student to be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident, so this session will not address pathways for undocumented students. Every family situation is different please contact us directly and we will do our best to point you toward relevant resources.

Yes. Carlos reserves time at the end of the session to answer questions live. Come with your questions ready this is your chance to get answers specific to your family.

No, one parent is enough. That said, when both parents attend, families tend to act on the information faster and with more confidence. If you can join together, we encourage it.

Still have a question? Carlos answers them live at the end of the session — reserve your spot while registration is open.
